Teacher Gifts

The last 2 posts were Teacher Appreciation gifts from the PTO. I co-chaired the committee, but we had a lot of help assembling things and the PTO funded the project. These were the Teacher Gifts that we made from US, for the kids to personally give their teachers. It has been fun putting them together.

Teacher Appreciation

So this year I co-chaired the committee at our school to help with the Teacher Appreciation Week. Wow, what a task that is! Anyway here is the 1st installments of gifts that we created for our wonderful teachers and staff.
TILE MAGNETS
(2x2 inch magnet tiles, with vinyl overlay)
The blue rectangle is simply a piece of foam board that we set the magnets on before we put them in a snack size Ziploc bag to package it, to keep it sturdy.
SCISSORS
We decorated the scissor blades and added a cute tag.

CUPS
"Thanks for quenching our students' thirst for knowledge..."

$5 GIFT CARD

CHALKBOARD FRAMES
We purchased $1 Frames and painted the glass with red chalkboard paint. We then tied an extra piece of chalk on with some ribbon.

(If you look on Pinterest you will see many other variations of similar ideas.)

Name Frame

Our oldest son is always searching for compliments! He loves to hear good things about himself and to be honest, who doesn't? With so many kids running around here, sometimes we forget to stop and remind each one how special they really are.
So we asked everyone in the family to help contribute to a list of qualities that are uniquely Aaron and I made this frame for him to hang in his room so that he can always remember all the things we love about him. I typed up his list and printed it out. I then cut his name out of vinyl to put over the glass.
He was so surprised and loved it! (I may need to do this for the other kids or YW, too!)
