Not that I would be one to leave up decorations past their intended holidays or anything, but it is now almost July and I decided it was probably about time (if not a little past time!) to take my Spring bunny wreath down.
One of my favorite craft stores was having a 1/2 off sale on these big wooden letters- just perfect for this project. I cut a zig-zag design out of a piece of cardboard to use as a stencil and went to work. (I could have used painters tape, but the thought of having to measure and place all the tape just right made me impatient, so I went with the tracing method.)
I painted the whole letter first, let it dry, then lightly penciled in my chevron stencil design. I painted in the stripes with the navy blue. Once it was all dry I added some colorful burlap ribbon and was done. I kind of think I'm in love. :)
