Sticky Note Clip Boards

Individual Worth #3: Read Doctrine and Covenants 18:10 and 121:45. Do all you can to build others and make them feel of worth. Every day for two weeks notice the worthwhile qualities and attributes of others. Acknowledge them verbally or in writing. In your journal write what you have learned about the worth of individuals and how your own confidence grows when you build others.
We have really been encouraging our girls to have positive attitudes and to look for the positive qualities in those around them.  We started our Combined YW activity by reading the above requirement from their Personal Progress Books, including the scriptures. We then challenged the girls to actually do it!
To help them acknowledge others we made these cute Sticky-Note Clip Boards. The idea is that for the nest 2 weeks they can carry their sticky notes around with them and leave notes of love and encouragement to those they see around them.

To make them you need:
pretty scrapbook paper
a scrapbook square chipboard (3x3)
pencil
clip
gluestick
scissors
sticky note pad
Trace the chipboard twice onto the paper. Cut out.
Glue paper onto both sides of the chipboard.
(If it overlaps slightly you may want to carefully trim the excess paper flush with the chipboard. You may even want to use a sanding block to get it really smooth.)
Glue a small scrap of paper onto your clip and then assemble.
